my 17yo son has a piece of white hair its that normal for a 17yo? it runs in the family but they were in their mid 20ish.

I got my first grey hair at 30 but my grandpa got his first one at 16 and my mom got her first one at 21. So, it depends on genetics I am sure.

But I'd say if it's just a couple then pull them out. I would.

But might be on safe side, if you want, to get him checked at the doctor but by and large could be nothing, probably he is just healthy but unlucky with hair color and genetics as far as getting grey.
