Which hair dye with highlights?

I know you can buy hair dye kits with an extra dye for hightlighting,but i dont know the name? I usually dye my own hair and do a really good job of it,but this time i want some lighter pieces of brown mingled with my dark brown hair.Which kit should i try which has both?

honestly- but really honestly...don't waste your money on high-lightening kits, unless you ask a friend to do it for you and you trust your friend.

the best is to go to a hair dresser, otherwise DIY highlights are so so so bad and look bad. believe me, seen people and have tried myself.

if I cannot convince you, then try maybe the L'Oreal high light kit it's about 鎷?0 or Garnier about 鎷?-6

definitely the loreal experte in the red box. ive been usin that for 2 years now. people always ask me what salon i get my colour done in! it does work. just follow the instructions properly and be prepared to take a good few hours doing it and be very careful when doin the highlights. get them as perfect as u can. it can b messy but its worth savin the cash!

Well I have got the knack of dying my own hair now but had horrible outcome a couple of years back after trying a highlighting kit. The dye bit is easy but when it came to the highlights it's a lot more tricky. You are meant to pick out the desired 'chunks' you want to highlight by using the end of the slim handled comb supplied with the kit, but to do this on your own is quite difficult and i used my fingers instead so ended up choosing the width of my highlight chunks starting at the bottom so when i got to the top it was very thick chunks i had picked! LOL you have gloves on and the highlighting cream gets on bits you don't want it to go on . If though you are like me and once you get something in your head you have to do it, just remember to choose your chunk sizes from the top or get someone who may have an idea what look you want to achieve to help you and remember if it goes wrong you can always nip to the chemist and by an all over dye to cover it. good luck.

they dont work as tint doesnt lift tint. you will end up with a blobby mess.
