My hair breaks off right at where my ponytail holder is. What should i do?

I need to keep my hair out of my face alot, but when i put it back, it breaks off and i have a whole bunch of random short pieces all over in my hair. My hair currently is about 5 inches below my shoulders. what should i do?

That is not a good sign, you need to get new pony tail holders, not the tiny rubber band type ones. Try getting a loosely fitting scrunchy, they are the best for your hair.

DO NOT PUT YOUR HAIR IN A PONY TAIL ANYMORE!!!!!!!!

Get it cut shorter. If it's breaking, that will help it to become stronger and healthier. If you pull it back all the time, you put stress on it, and so it breaks.

mine does that too. you can wear your hair down and put it in a headband or a clip so it isn't in your face.

Try wearing a claw clip instead of a ponytail holder, or wear a french braid.

Put olive oil all over your hair and massage into scalp. Put a plastic bag over your hair and use your hair dryer on low heat for about 1 hour ... wash out and be sure your drinking a lot of water and eating right ... if you don't eat right you will have bad hair and grow up you will have thinned hair. Treat your body right!

you could try wearing Ouchless ponytail rubber bands, they dont yank out your hair. same with loose scrunchies. or you could use a huge claw clip or a headband

What kind of hair-tie do u use? Try to stay away from the rubberband-lookalikes and use scrunchies that are lighter on your hair. Also, try not to tie it too tight.

I have to keep my hair out of my face too, so I use head bands (the soft, one-piece ones) and use hair clips to put my hair up. I also like to use pencils/chopsticks. . .it's cute too!

Try to put it in as many differant spots as you can. Dont wear it to bed and use an anti brakage conditioner.

Try using exra moisterizing hair products... Including Schampoo and Conditioiner. Go to your local hair dresser to ask about what brands of stuff to use.

Don't pull your hair up much. Relax it. Take it out and maybe cut it or use a special shampoo.

Try using a scrunchie to tie back your hair, the ones that have material covering the elastic, also you must make sure you use enough conditioner. If you think this would make your hair too greasy then just use additional conditoner in the form of leave in spray conditoner and spray that area that will carry the ponytail holder.

You can braid it and just use a small band on the end or wear a hair net.

Get a ponytail holder without metal in it, and try not to make it so tight. or get a plastic claw clip to keep your hair back
