What to do about my upper lip hair.?

I am 18 years old and very self-conscious about my upper lip hair. I have thick dark hair, but very light skin, so the hair is very unsightly.

I have tried bleaching, but the hair is too thick and some pieces are just too dark, so it still looks bad. The hair removal creams also don't work on me. I have tried a couple brands and within 1 minute my skin starts burning and leaves me with burn-like spots on my skin. Waxing also doesn't work because it grows back within days and it looks bad to let it grow long enough every week to wax again.

I don't have much money... but my self-confidence is suffering... what do i do?

just like all body hair it'll grow back, so i'd say to keep on waxing, bleaching is always obvious, and if you have you'll get like whisker pickies, so maybe if you wax it enough times it won't grow back so thick, um I know you don't have a lot of funds, but there is always laser hair removal thats permanent. so my advice is to start saving!

I had electrolosis ... it actually is not expensive at all. It costs 20.00 for 20 minutes ... and that's one appointment. It took me about a year to get it done, going approx. once a month. So in the end, I'd say it cost me approx. 200 - 300.00 total ... which is spread out over the year. So that's not bad at all ... and in the end ... your muzzy will be gone forever!!! :) Good luck ... I know the pain!

Similar kind of products are also sold at Drugstores, like Longs Drugs. This is a pencil like blade that performs like a pair of scissors, so it cuts the hair right on the surface. This is only $8.00.

My sister shaves hers.....daily like a guy the things once you start to remove hair it comes back faster a darker....makes you want to scream...but shaving with a pink dixie 99cent razor is the cheapest way to go and no one but you has to know *wink
