Okay my hair is layered and i have some tight curls and some loose ones..( i have THICK hair)

now since my hair is layered, the two front pieces are shorter than the others,(layered) they dry faster and frizz easily, then the sides of my hair poof out...

what can o dp w/o buying anything

You have to buy some frizz-ease or something like that and just put it through the shorter layer. I have relatively straight hair but with mine cut like that, the top also POOFS out! Good luck!

My hair does the same thing. If you don't want to straighten it, then try some mousse when the hair is damp and let it air dry.

When your hair is wet put it in a pony tail and it will dry straight. you might get that weird lump around your head but not everyone does. i do and i hate people who have perfect hair that can go from one hairstyle to the next in .1 second. it just pisses me off.

Silk therapy works wonder for frizz. Also a 1 in. Andis flat iron work really good and its only $15.00 at walmart. Alot of people get the wide flat irons but they don't work near as good because people try to straighten to big of sections at a time. Use small sections it will smooth it better. Andis irons work well on ethnic hair too.

Try using a little conditioner on your hair and leave it in. Do this after you wash your hair but use it sparingly so it doesn't look oily. It will soften your hair and also help tame down the 'poof'. Good luck. I'm assuming that you have conditioner,so you shouldn't have to go out and buy anything.
