whenever i piece of my head hair falls out i get a itching almost stinging feeling on my skin where ever the hair is sometimes a welpy rash will come up where i itch. can i really be allergic to my own hair?

I believe it's your scalp that is allergic, try Neutrogena or simply Johnson %26amp; Johnson Baby shampoo. Your scalp may be sensitive to chemicals that are in your current shampoo. Try the baby shampoo, it's milder.
