Hair extensions sew in clips?

i bought the hair extensions

and the needle

and the thread and the clips

but i dont know how to sew the clips onto the extenisons

its this big long piece of hair width wise

do i cut it into pieces and then sew them on?

but if i do that, theyre not thick enough length wise.

do i fold it?

but then how do i clip it in?

What do i do?

I did once and they are a pain .

Im a white girl and I go to an african braiding shop and they do ,do extensions and it cost 60-80 dollars and buy your own human hair (Indian preferably)
