I want to dye my hair?

About a third of my hair in front is blond and the back is a dark brown (my natural hair color). I'm getting tired of this, I want something more..."wow".

The problem is, though, that my school district doesn't allow unatural hair colors. I'm not sure if my school enforces that rule or not, but I'm scared to find out...

I see some people in the halls with like, a dark shade of red. And once I saw another girl with a piece of her hair fluorescent green, but it was temporary 'cause she didn't have it in the next day.

So what should I do? Dye a little part of my hair with a temporary color? Semipermanent? Ahhhhhh! *head implodes*

Color it all dark brown- same as your natural color. If you've been sporting the 1/2 and 1/2 for a while, then it would be "wow".

When I was in the same situation with my school district (however it was 10 years ago) my friends and I used to color over our blonde chunks with crayola markers. Just DON'T get caught in the rain. It runs everywhere! But at least you can use it to match what you're wearing. A new color every day! Yay!

It won't get on your hands if they are dry, you can even do gym class with it and it doesn't run. Have fun with it! Report It

i think you should put some highlight and dye your hair with a brown. the highlight should be gold and it will look nice.

I would say temp. LOL! My middle school had to make a rule just like that. I think its because of me, I always dyed my hair with different colors. Now I have my natural hair color with a little bit of faded red in it so its like a somewhat red goldish in the light, and a darker brownish in the shade. My bangs are a dark purple, but extremely fluresent in the light. I mean a pink purple. It rocks because my highschool lets us!
