Please go to a salon and let a professional hair dresser do your hair. You could end up with some crazy color highlight if you try to do this yourself.

lightening your hair is where the damage comes in. darkening your hair should be fine. go for it, just don;t expect to bleach/lighten it anytime soon. you will be fine.

I dont think so?

Yes, you will be fine to tint back your hair. If the blonde areas are overly damaged you may find that it won't take the color or the results are uneven. In that case, just reapply the dark color. Use a demi color (not a permanent color) as you only need a color that will deposit. Permanent colors lift and deposit while, demi colors simply deposit. They're less damaging as well.

It should cover the blond..i dont see why it wouldnt. I have dyed mine like 2 times in one day.....I dont think it really harms it but to much can fry it!

Can I color back my hair?

yes. 2 to 3 wks should be long enough. I've done it sooner than that and I've been dyeing my hair for about 25 yrs. Use two boxes of dye ; just to make sure it covers totally.

Can I color back my hair?

Yes, you can. I had my hair "highlighted" and was almost blond when I walked out of the beauty shop. I went by Sally's Beauty Supply on the home and purchased what I needed to dye my hair back to its natural color. Medium brown. No damage or hair lose and I did it the same day. You may need to use a good conditioner for a while, but you do that anyway.

Can I color back my hair?

yes but that one peice will be just a little lighter than the rest. not that noticeable. if you use the more exspensive kind it should all turn back black

Coloring over highlights isn't necessarily a bad thing. It wouldn't be best to try to lighten it, as that requires bleach, but it seems you don't want to do that anyway. I would use a deep conditioning treatment on your hair for a few days before doing it though. My hair is black naturally, so I've never had to color it black myself but I had a friend who did. Black will definitely cover it up. A few warnings however: 1)Dying your hair black is a serious commitment. The only way to get rid of it is to let it grow out if you don't like it. Most salons won't strip it out (as the bleach and chemicals necessary to remove such a dark pigment seriously damage hair) and the color that would result wouldn't be very pretty at all anyway. (On my friend, it was an odd dark red shade.) The most that could be done would be bleach and tone highlights to soften the color, but not a complete removal. 2)Unless you don't mind it looking unnatural, I would recommend finding colors marked as "soft" black or "natural" black. Jet black and the like leave your hair with a blue tint. Seriously think about whether or not you want this color. When I search online for haircolor problems, some of the top ones I see are of people who have dyed their hair black and are having problems with it. If you really have given it thought and want it though, go for it! I think shiny black hair is gorgeous.
