My hair and skin have become so dry after using a drug named Racutan. I've used a lot of lotion

after using this drug which has so side effects my hair and my skin are so dry that nothing works on them. I have tried a lot of different lotions and oils but the problem is left. I can't believe the doctors more. during the day I have to use different lotions on my hair and different parts of my body again and again. especially I'm so worry about my hair, for it cuts into pieces.

Your hair and skin are internally dehydrated and damaged from the treatment, so it doesn't matter how many creams you apply externally.

Get off the Racutan (is it accutane?) and ask your dr. for an alternative, non tretinoin therapy.

I would talk with your doctor about this problem and see if you can get a different medication instead. If not, then go and see a dermatologist about the problem, they'll help you with the best course of action for your situation.

This drug is supposed to dry you out. Is it solving the initial problem? If so, then you have to decide which is worse, your original problem, or the side effects of the cure.

Does Hydrogen peroxide need the sun to activate it to bleach my hair?

Blow dryer I think.

Does Hydrogen peroxide need the sun to activate it to bleach my hair?

no thats not needed but if u want go ahead

Does Hydrogen peroxide need the sun to activate it to bleach my hair?

no, it doesn't need the sun, a hairdryer will do the trick.

Does Hydrogen peroxide need the sun to activate it to bleach my hair?

Straight Hydrogen peroxide, might lift one level of hair colour. But in order to lighten it more than 1 level, you need to mix Hydrogen peroxide with powder bleach. It works quicker under heat and kept moist. Since I am a Hairstylist, I would recommend getting this done only by a professional.

Clearasil ultra lightens hair?

i use the clearasil ultra pore cleansing pads, and i've been noticing that the hair around my face (the pieces that get in the way) is lightening to a brown (my hair is naturally black), i checked the label on the pads, and it said that it had hydrogen peroxide in it.

i know that the peroxide can lighten your hair.

but if i keep using this product, will the hair around my face begin to lighten even more, to a blonde color?

Clearasil ultra lightens hair?

It shouldn't get to blonde, but it might keep lightening to a lighter brown. I ran into that problem when I used those too. There's not much you can do about it, except stop using the product.

Clearasil ultra lightens hair?

it may....peroxide is what stylist use in hair color to lighten hair..

Clearasil ultra lightens hair?

Yep. Mine is. And I'm black. Not so cute -- just weird. Just be careful how close you get to your hairline when you use it.

Clearasil ultra lightens hair?

yeppers, i used to use it, and i used the spot treatment right on my hairline a couple times, and im still growing out a platinum blonde patch (my hair is a light red/blonde)

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

my 17yo son has a piece of white hair its that normal for a 17yo? it runs in the family but they were in their mid 20ish.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

I know it does depend.

I got my first grey hair at 30 but my grandpa got his first one at 16 and my mom got her first one at 21. So, it depends on genetics I am sure.

But I'd say if it's just a couple then pull them out. I would.

But might be on safe side, if you want, to get him checked at the doctor but by and large could be nothing, probably he is just healthy but unlucky with hair color and genetics as far as getting grey.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

it can be...take him to a doctor to exclude anything else if you want to be cool about it

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

Some people in my mother's family started getting it at 12 years old. I started in my early 20s. I'm 27 now.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

Any age really. I have known several people that have been almost completely white by the time they were 16. It's a genetic thing.

Good luck, HTH

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

My advice is to never start having it. Once you start, it's hard to stop.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

You can be born with grey hair it dosent matter if yoiu are 12 or 100.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

late teens early tweenties is rare but been known if its just the one or two i would just pull it out

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

Any time really, although 17 is very young. But not unheard of.

Maybe get some blood work to make sure though.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

well my husband noticed his first grey hairs coming through when he was 21 but his dad started going grey when he was just 15 so everything thing is normal with ur 17 y/o its just genetics :)

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

I dont think you have to be a certin age for grey hair I have heard it happen to younger kids than 17 it dont mean there is something wronge maybe he is just growing up.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

A girlfrien of mine started going gray in the 6th grade. She was totaly silver by the 11th.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

Actually, any age. Some people are actually born with white streaks in their hair.

At what age can ya start to have a grey hair?

my grandpa was totally Grey when he was 30 and i started getting grey hairs when i was 12 but thankfully i started dying it or else i would prolly be totally Grey too :(

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

I have naturally wavy hair with little ringlet-y pieces framing my face with the least amount of wave in the back of my hair (it's still wavy, just not little corkscrews like the hair around my face). Should I just blowdry straight and if so, what products are best to keep frizzies %26amp; fly aways at bay while also actually straightening hair? Should I wear it naturally and if so, what products work best and should I air dry or blow dry? Or, should I get my hair straightened at the salon? I think that could be really damaging but I don't know. Any ideas?

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

I'll give you some advice from experience: I have curly/wavey hair and when I was young, everyone wanted straight blonde hair. I ironed it every morning and stripped it till it looked like straw!!! Now I wish I had all of those natural waves.

I think your answer will depend on what kind of hair you have (texture wise) and if you color it. I'd invest in a good cut first and take advantage of what you have. It will be easier on you and will look lovely. The less chemicals the better. Let a stylist tell you what products to use to keep it healthy.

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

They have a new way to straighten your hair out chemically. Its not as damaging at all but its expensive and time consuming. Its called the japanese straightening system. If you do decide to do this make sure the salon you go to is certified to do this Report It

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

Wear your hair as naturally as you can.

Most guys will like any kind of hair style if thats what you were born with, but they absolutley hate hair that has weird feeling chemicals in it.

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

Go natural.

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

wavy, makes you look exotic, b/c everbody straighten their hair.

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

I also have naturally wavy hair. I've done it all. I have had my hair chemically straightened and that has helped some. The only problem with that is when it starts to grow out..your roots will be wavy. I have found that if you use a really good moisurizer for your hair that helps control the frizz, it's best to use a flat iron. I personally use Biosilk and a Chi flat iron after I've allowed my hair to air dry. Either way if you use the chemicals, blow dryer or flat iron, you are still damaging your hair with the chemicals and the heat. Good luck!

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

As much as they claim that chemical salon hair straighteners have improved, they still really "fry" your hair. It falls or, at best, just lays flat and limp. I think you should keep it untouched chemically and wear it either curly, wavy, or straight by blow-drying it. Get a haircut that would work for frizzy hair. Good products are: Phyto-defrisant, hard to find and expensive. You find it at specialty hair salons and hair product boutiques in major cities or upscale department stores like Neiman-Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue. Drugstore brands like John Frieda or L'Oreal are also good. If you can get to NYC, make an appointment at a hair salon called Deva-shan in Soho (area code 212). They specialize in curly hair. They sell a very nice book with haircuts and hairstyles for mild wavy to very curly hair. I think it's called "curly girl."

Wavy hair-Should I blow dry straight/ wear naturally/get chemically straightened?

blow drying is so time consuming and lets face it who wants to spend 2 hours blow drying hair at the crack of dawn. if you choose this technique than get some mousse and put in before blow drying. as far as chemical straightning, relaxers are what most hairstylist choose but when i was doing hair we use to use permanent waves to straighten hair. remember when your mom got her hair permanently curled in the salon with the little curlers. well minus the curlers plus alot of combing will straighten your hair and its not as damaging as relaxers. that stuff is the strongest chemical you can put on hair.

i think you should buy a relaxer and do it yourself. keep frizz down by rubbing conditioner over dry hair.

How long before getting highlights should you dye your hair?

I am a brunette and would like to darken my hair a tad before getting highlights - I am getting mini highlights so its only a few strands/pieces thru-out the hair. I am getting my highlights done Dec. 27th - I use a product called Herbatint b/c it has no ammonia or chemicals (well, no harsh chemicals). If you would like to see the site for this product go to:

www.herbatint.co.uk

Thanks!

How long before getting highlights should you dye your hair?

Do it at the same time!!

your stylist should be able to add foils to your hair while you are getting your color done.

If you prefer to do your color at home. do your color the same week your getting your hilights done so your color is even from roots to ends, this ensures you do not get "hot roots"

plus you dont want roots on your color and hilights from roots to ends that will look silly.

Call your stylist!! this is the best person to ask!

How long before getting highlights should you dye your hair?

at least three months

How long before getting highlights should you dye your hair?

You can do both on the same day. Just dye what needs to be dyed and seperate the parts to be hightlighted and fold foil over them after you have a applied the highlighting agent.
